So I'm sitting in my intermedia foundations class.
and I think it’s safe to assume most of this class will be spent on tumblr.
These computers are really nice. 27 inch apple displays, with Mac Pro towers. If only they had the wireless keyboard and the multitouch pad. But I guess beggars can’t be choosers right?

College sucks.
You pay out a TON of money for tuition, housing, books blah blah blah.
And then because I’m an art student, I pay EVEN MORE because I have to buy art supplies. And sadly in college, Crayola doesn’t cut it. Went to Boulder last night.
Saw my wifey. Did 13 keg stand push-ups. Drank way too much. Stayed up way too late. Fell on my ass. Met way too many people. Had way too much fun.

Yesterday was the start of a new semester.
I should be super stoked right? Wrongo. I already hate my schedule. I work on campus from 8am to 1pm on Tuesday and Thursday, then go to classes from 2-6. Not such a bad day. Mondays and Wednesdays I don’t go to class until 3:30. But I don’t get out until 9PM.
Yup. And then I get to go back to campus by 8AM.
Oh and did I mention I’m sick? First week back and I’m already...

I'm signing out of Tumblr for awhile.
I know. I can’t believe I just said it either. But I need a break from the internet. I need to be more productive, and since I don’t see my nap time taking any time cuts anytime soon, internet time is the next to go. Did I mention I’m going to let my best friend change my password? So apparently the new Facebook trend is to write...
The first one, was sweet and endearing and heartfelt (at least in my opinion). it was cute and honest. It was original and it made me smile.
The second one, felt like a cheap imitation copy, that sounded like it came out of a bag of dove chocolates, or a fucking self help book. It came across as self righteous, insincere, and frankly, it hurt my feelings more than it soothed them.

Trying to do homework at work,
but this desk chair is so comfortable, and the light is kind of dim.
And this chapter about Liberalist theory in my Theories of International Relations book just isn’t exciting enough to hold my attention.

my apartment is so hot i can't stand it.
holy hell. it’s 32 degrees outside, and i’m sitting here in my underwear because i’m going to suffer from a heatstroke if i try and put anything else on. the heat is off, and my windows are open. wtf.

I kind of want a new car.
I really love my WRX. It’s a beast in snow, and super cute. It’s a blast to drive on the highway. But I live downtown. With tons of traffic and stoplights. It’s getting difficult to drive downtown, and I feel like my clutch is suffering. As much as I love driving a smaller car, I honestly miss driving an SUV. My 4Runner was an awesome car with far fewer problems than this WRX has...
I saw Barack Obama speak on my campus today.
I don’t always agree with him, and I often think that he his mostly talk. But oh what a talk it is. The man is an incredible public speaker.
